Format for AFMC BIOCHEMISTRY QUIZ at 50^th National Conference of Association of Clinical Biochemists Of India (ACBICON 2024)

DAY 1 (1:00 – 1:30 p.m.) à SCREENING ROUND

MCQ based Screening exam of all the teams (2 participants each).
Total 30 questions - One mark for correct answer, no negative marking.
Time duration - 30 mins.
Average score of the two team members will be used to rank the participating teams.
Top 5 teams will be invited to participate in a grand on-stage quiz hosted by AFMC Faculty.

DAY 2 (5:00 – 6:30 p.m.) à FINAL ROUND

1	History of biochemistry	Photographic quiz - Images/videos of prominent personalities, inventions or equipment. Each team will be asked 2 questions of 10 marks each. In case the team fails to answer the question, it will be passed onto the next team.	10 Min
2	Chemistry & Metabolism	Each team will be asked 2 questions of 10 marks each. In case the team fails to answer the question, it will be passed onto the next team.	15 Min
3	Clinical biochemistry	One clinical case-based question carrying 20 Marks	10 Min
4	OMICS round	Molecular biology questions. Rapid fire round consisting of 5 questions from each team with no passing of questions. Each question is for 5 marks.	15 Min
Negative Marking - All wrong answers will invite 5 marks as penalty
